Vacation Day One, the Drive

I stayed home to pack and my hubs went to work on wednesday. I packed up three bags full of clothing and shoes and then decided that it would probably be best to just take the giant bag...So I unpacked it all. When he finally got home after what seemed like FOREVER we got into the car and headed out for the 6 hour drive.
The drive around where we live is a lot of farm land so its mostly flat and very booooorrriiinnggg.
Once we got further West the scenery was gorgeous, we even stopped at one of those "Scenic View" turn offs and snapped a couple pics.
When we got up in to the Rocky Mountains it was gorgeous, low clouds, big mountains, twists and turns. :Dclouds on the mountain

me
Kev being a goof.
The drive was perfect, no rain. Lots of sun. A relaxing sort of drive into seattle.

I was having way too much fun with my camera in the tunnels.
^ Outskirts of Seattle
more fun with my camera
Down town
if you've never been to seattle..it is one of the greenest cities I've ever been to. Plant life everywhere, here is some Ivy growing down from an overpass
my favorite tunnel, it has vintage white tiles.
beers..YAY
Here is my friend's BF and one of the first views of seattle that I got...yes those are her panties..
