Watch Me Grow...

I know I haven't shared too much of my pregnancy because frankly, I don't want to scare anyone away..hehe. But I thought well, since I'm almost done, maybe I could do a little recap for you and why not start with the belly...since after all that IS what its all about isn't it?
10 weeks, 11, 13..as you can see I wasn't very good at doing them every week...especially in the beginning because there was practically no change.
Hey look...its starting to look like something is happening!
This is 18.5 weeks, found out it was a boy and finally bought some maternity pants.

After 18 weeks I gave up the actual camera pictures in exchange for something easier...cell phone pics in my always messy bedroom.
here is 19 weeks.
20 weeks, here I am on my 26th birthday
21 weeks, as you can see my growth was pretty rapid and dramatic
22 weeks
24 weeks
25.5 weeks
27 weeks
27.5 weeks
29 weeks
and the latest...this is 30 weeks, 50 inches of baby and yoga pants. Not exactly pretty I know but hey..pregnancy isn't always "beautiful".

Things I also discovered this week, I'm allergic to cocoa butter. This pic was right before I broke out in a terrible rash that I'm still trying to get rid of.
I hope I didn't offend any of you with my (GASP) bare belly pics, I just thought it would be fun to share my experience with you, thus far.

Pregnancy is so amazing, isn't it? And beautiful. I can't imagine that you'd offend anyone.

It's amazing how our bodies can adjust themselves to another bring growing in us.

Pregnancy is really a mind boggling thing. I never thought about it as a kid, but now that I'm older and have friends who are pregnant, it is just crazy what women's bodies can do!

Love your belly pics-I had a photo take of me every week of all three of my pregnancies and then I made pregnancy scrapbooks for all of my babies-its a beautiful journey you are on. Your first pregnancy is extra special bc you are all new in this and you dont really know what youre doing. And if youre wondering....YES your belly will get bigger. Dont be scared-just embrace it-its all for him! xox

You look beautiful. I spent a large part of my first to-term pregnancy feeling like I wasn't pretty, or that I was a whale, and obsessing about every tiny stretch mark, and it's only in retrospect that I look back at the [very few] pictures [I allowed to be taken] and realize that I was adorable, and wish there were more. Enjoy that belly! Hell, enjoy those stretch marks... I used to be so self conscious about them, but my kids now know which ones each of them caused, and there's something about watching your five year old trace a line on your belly, knowing he stretched it out because he grew so big that just... wow.
On a wholly other note, try organic virgin coconut oil instead of the cocoa butter. It's very hydrating and smells so good! I use it for everything; hair, body, face, cooking...
