Emerald Wedding - Cocktail Time!

Its been a while since I did my last wedding collection. They're so much fun, this one started out as a bohemian, then switched to "pear" theme and is now emerald (color) themed. Some gorgeous dark green pieces in here. If the wedding dress doesn't knock you off your feet then you better get your eyes checked!
his headpiece is not vintage but its gorgeous and I think for this over the top cocktail wedding, this simple headpiece would be smarter than a full veil. You can have one too from portobello
Amazing emerald rhinestone earrings...wow! They're post earrings huge and over the top! Marilyn is calling! weebeader is the shop you can get this amazing set in.
This dress....I mean...come on! The price is EXCELLENT for a dress in this condition with this kind of detail. Dripping with silver sequins and beads, this amazing cocktail dress was the inspiration behind this bling-tastic cocktail wedding...and how could it not be? RedHouseVintages is the place where you can find this masterpiece :)
Bridal sprin-o-lators Swirls of vines (like dress) and pear shaped rhinestones (like earrings) i thought a clear shoe would be the perfect touch for the dress. Snag them up from VintageOrphans
This was my idea for the brides' maids. A simple cocktail shape with a little bit of bling..probably not in this color. I was hoping for a silver or brocade fabric. You can find this cute little dress in roadtripjournal

Cling - Clang

I love vintage glassware, plates, cups, pitchers, carafes, serving plates. Glamorous or kitsch, practical or pretty. I love em all! Here are some pics of a few pieces in my collection.

A pitcher with 8 glasses, I love the gold and black. Great find from a local antique store. :) I wish I entertained more so I could use this set.
My favorite 80's coffee cup. This thing has had the handle break off multiple times as well as a chip out of the front, but its still kicking and I'll use it until it falls apart...to the point where I can't use it..hehehe
I got these for my hubs, 70s viking horn black glass, glasses.
My 50's coffee mugs, kind of Polynesian inspired.
My pyrex coffee carafe with orig tags. :)
My late 40's pyrex wood bead carafe with awesome O handle.
My punch bowl...don't have any cups for it...but it has the stand :)
Here is my fruit plate. Its got this amazing atomic fruit print all over it. I'm going to use it as the inspiration for my kitchen I'm going to hand paint some of the designs one the cupboards. I (hope) it will turn out cute.
Its hanging up on my kitchen wall right now. design by Georges Briard

70s orange grapes, my grandma had some of these when I was a kid. I've always loved them!
Gorgeous female Polynesian head. I think its been aged - but it is vintage. She's so beautiful.
My lane side table. I saw the rest of the set at a local store but I didn't have the money to buy it at the time...missed out on the other end table and the coffee table with the dovetail design..sad day.
Hand carved "victory" hand...i prefer victory more than peace...cuz i'm not a hippie.
My TOTALLY RAD 50s drapes the set was just $18

My boomerang bowl with two tone sides. I keep my makeup in it. :)

70s (?) molded plastic chair. Love the bright orange color! Used to have a set but someone thought it would be a good idea to stand on it and it broke :( that did not make me happy

well that's my vintage decor for now. I also have a 50's coffee table but its such a mess right now and its not anything special.

A few of my favorite things

I've been so thoughtless. I haven't shared any pictures of my personal vintage collection. :) Here are some pics of my lamps.

My most favorite white ceramic table lamp with gold * all over it. This one was $28 with shade. Here is a picture of the gorgeous fiberglass shade
Here is one of the lamps I got a couple weekends ago with shade - the set was just $30!
Here is the other one - still has the original tag that says 24 K gold.
This 70s lamp was the best deal at $1.80. This lamp is great - its the only thing in the house that matches my orange couch. hahaha

If this is Sarong I don't want to be right!

I love sarong dresses, nothing reminds me more of being away from it all on a vacation to somewhere warm *sigh* doesn't that sound nice right about now? Of course Shaheen is best known for his Hawaiian print dresses and Asian inspired dresses. I've only had 2 of his dresses for sale. One was a full skirt sundress in green with gold oriental symbols all over and the other was a tunic dress with side slits that go up to the hips (wish i still had pictures of these)..but alas I have never been able to snag the sarong dress. I've never even had one in my inventory. I'm hoping this summer I will be able to find one..if not I'll just have to buy one of these...oh darn ;)

Bring on the swoons ladies, large print inverted halter bust, classic Shaheen. I especially love the buckle on the hip. This beautiful find is from PlanetClaireVintage
Not your typical sarong dress. I love the pretty pink print. New take on a classic shape. This would be the kind of sarong dress I would wear on my vacation. An amazing find from CalendarGirlVintage
This red on red sarong dress is gorgeous! So pin up its almost painful! Another "gotta have" for me...from ValeriesVintage
Another unique print from shaheen, this one is a hawaiian village with hula girls and flowers. A print you could stare at for hours. I'm a big fan of the lines of this one too. Thanks to PlanetClaireVintage again for another beautiful find.
LOVE! The color is gorgeous, its a very understated sarong but that print in that color WOWIE. I gotta say I would prefer a little more going on with the neckline..but I'm not complaining. This one is from kitchcat
This one looks like a bathingsuit with a sarong over it but its a dress. The pattern is perfect for the sun and sand. Wishing this one was my size. From Jumblelaya
This is the only strapless shaheen in the collection. Love the wrap across the bust. So sexy, great find from TripleGemini
A more formal shaheen dress with bird of paradise print. Great for a luau! This one is another find from CalenderGirlVintage
Last find another from PlanetClaireVintage - this one is crazy sexy. Great color another evening style dress, strapless with shoulder train. Yes! Are you wishing it was summer time as much as I am right now?
